Crisis Hotline  

Introduction:  

We engaged with a national crisis hotline service, a leader in providing immediate support to those in need. This organization sought solutions to enhance their employee training and performance.  

Challenge:   

The service faced a critical challenge: rapid turnover of new hires leaving within three months, which compromised the quality and availability of crucial support services. Hotline workers must be able to navigate various software systems while also engaging callers in distress.  

Post-employment feedback revealed that these new employees felt too overwhelmed to provide adequate support services even after attending a four-week in-person training. The organization knew it needed to revamp its new-hire training program. The organization faced an additional challenge because it had recently transitioned to remote work and lacked experience training a virtual workforce.  

Solution:  

We developed an onboarding curriculum that uses a blend of simulated calls, interactive practice scenarios, and real-time feedback. We sequenced the program to ensure new staff members could quickly become proficient and effective without becoming overwhelmed. The revamped program allowed new hires to begin fielding calls two weeks after hire, instead of four, while reporting more confidence and displaying a higher level of proficiency. As a result, the hotline decreased turnover and improved the employee and caller experience.  

Financial Education

We partnered with a financial non-profit focused on empowering local consumers and organizations with the essentials of financial literacy.     

Challenge:   

The non-profit wanted to scale its popular series of in-person workshops. They wanted to expand their audiences beyond their current geographic reach, as well as target a younger demographic. They needed a strategic shift to a digital platform that was not only scalable but also accessible and engaging for people using mobile devices. 

Solution:  

Our team reimagined the in-person workshops into on-demand, mobile-friendly training modules featuring popular instructors and video-based content. We crafted a digital experience that was not just a replication but an enhancement of their in-person workshops, making financial education more accessible and impactful than ever before.

Our client, who offers Professional Continuing Education, sought to enhance the effectiveness of their content for healthcare professionals. 

Challenge:   

The organization needed to engage learners and translate theoretical knowledge into practical, clinical skills.

Solution:  

We developed interactive video case-based learning. This approach places learners in simulated real-world scenarios, prompting them to make decisions as they would in their actual work environment. By incorporating interactive elements and real-life cases into the training, we transformed passive learning into an active, immersive experience. Our client, a prestigious Higher Education Institution, sought to scale a popular leadership program and expand their guest-speaker roster. 

Challenge:   

The primary issue faced by the leadership program was the geographical dispersion of their world-class network of guest speakers. The institution wanted to make it easier for guest speakers to participate and build an evergreen on-demand library for current and future learners. 

Solution:  

We responded by developing a suite of multimedia components to appeal to new audiences, which enabled the institution to attract guest speakers who could participate from anywhere.
